Staying Active In The Sunshine!

Summer

These are some of my favorite ways to stay active outdoors, especially in the beautiful summer sunshine! It's particularly important to keep your skin protected with safe sunscreen that's not loaded with chemicals that will absorb into your body.

Don't forget to stay hydrated!


Summer is a beautiful time to make sun tea! Just make sure it's decaffeinated, since caffeine will dehydrate you. Even better add your favorite fruit or herbs to your tea! Yum!


Sun Tea Ingredients & Recipe


• 4 cups water
• Add choice fruit or herbs
• 4 Decalf black tea bags

Combine water, tea bags, and choice fruit or herbs in a glass pitcher, set in sun for 5 - 8 hours. (No time? Boil water, add ingredients and steep for 5 minutes.) Refrigerate until chilled and serve over ice!

  1. love these tips! I am going to be doing the swimming a lot this summer - for weight loss mostly - what a fun way to work out!
